Feels like it has been AGES since we updated you about the adventures of Jamison Road. Aside from it being just a darn good summer for the band, it has also been good to share at least part of it with many of you — at Elk Lake, at Equus Run, in Lorain County, in Wayne County, etc. We appreciate the support and love you have shown us along the way.
So, just to catch you up…
We are approaching our 600th Facebook fan, all legitimately obtained — in other words, we did NOT pay for them (yes, apparently you can do that). Thanks to all of you for spreading the word about JR. Not that this is really MASSIVE; but, our music has reached the East Coast, the West Coast, Latin America, Europe, Nordic, etc. We are officially being played on internet radio stations Jango and Earbits (Google them!). We made our first television appearance as the featured band on Fox 19’s Cincinnality about 3 weeks ago. AND, we locally shot our first music video over the past few weeks just to see if the camera actually DOES make you look 10lbs heavier! If you haven’t visited our YouTube channel lately, there also are a few videos of us sweating profusely, posted from the summer.
AND NOW we will let you in on a little secret (for advanced planning purposes)….
Jamison Road will headline a New Year’s Eve event on December 31, 2012. Expect the announcement “soon” with specifics. If you haven’t seen us in a while, this will be your opportunity to see some things that you probably haven’t seen from us, such as the FULL band versus the acoustic trio and a handful of BRAND NEW Jamison Road originals that are destined for CD #2. More to come; but, we would REALLY like to celebrate 2012 and welcome 2013 with all of you. Mark your calendars. It will be a fun night, with a few surprises; you will not want to miss it. Details will hit Facebook first.
Now, we are OFF to Nashville for the weekend. Wish it was because we have been invited to hang out on a PONTOON with Little Big Town; but, that’s not the case (this time). Stay tuned…
